MSI PRO H610M-G WIFI DDR4 Micro-ATX Motherboard | LGA 1700
Reliable Core Performance: Despite its entry-level chipset, the PRO H610M-G does not compromise on stability. It features MSI’s Core Boost technology, utilizing a premium layout and optimized power design to deliver clean, undistorted current to the CPU. This ensures maximum stability even when running demanding applications. Furthermore, the PCIe 4.0 x16 slot is reinforced with MSI Steel Armor, which physically solders the slot to the motherboard to easily support the weight of heavy, modern graphics cards while protecting the data signals from electromagnetic interference.
Essential Storage and Connectivity: The motherboard provides all the necessary connections to build a responsive, fast-booting PC. It features an onboard M.2 slot operating at PCIe 3.0 x4 speeds, allowing you to install a lightning-fast NVMe SSD for instant application loading. For massive media libraries, it retains four SATA III ports for traditional hard drives or SATA SSDs. The rear I/O offers excellent display flexibility for systems utilizing integrated graphics, boasting HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and a legacy VGA port, allowing for easy multi-monitor office setups without needing a dedicated graphics card.
Wireless Freedom Out of the Box: One of the standout features of this specific model is the inclusion of a pre-installed wireless module. It comes equipped with Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 4.2, giving you the immediate freedom to connect to your home network and wireless peripherals without running a long ethernet cable across the room or buying a separate USB adapter. For users who prefer a hardwired connection, it also features a highly stable Intel Gigabit LAN port.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Does this motherboard support PCIe Gen 4.0 M.2 SSDs? While you can physically install a PCIe Gen 4.0 M.2 SSD into this motherboard, the M.2 slot itself is capped at PCIe Gen 3.0 x4 speeds. A Gen 4.0 drive will work perfectly fine, but its speed will be limited to the Gen 3.0 bandwidth limit (roughly 3,500 MB/s). The main PCIe x16 slot for the graphics card, however, does operate at full Gen 4.0 speeds.
- Can I manually overclock my processor on this board? No. The Intel H610 chipset is an entry-level platform designed for stock stability and strictly prohibits CPU core multiplier overclocking. If you wish to overclock an unlocked “K” series Intel CPU, you will need a motherboard with a “Z” series chipset (such as Z690 or Z790).
- Will this fit in a standard ATX case? Yes. Micro-ATX motherboards share the same mounting hole patterns as full-size ATX motherboards, just occupying less vertical space. It will easily mount into a mid-tower or full-tower ATX case.
