Thermaltake CTE C700 TG ARGB Snow | Mid Tower E-ATX Chassis
CTE Form Factor & 90-Degree Rotation: The defining feature of the CTE C700 is its internal layout. By rotating the motherboard mounting tray 90 degrees, the rear I/O of the motherboard and the display outputs of your graphics card now face the top of the case. This “chimney effect” layout draws cold air from the front, rear, and bottom intakes and naturally exhausts hot air directly out the top. It also places the CPU and GPU right in the middle of the main airflow pathways, ensuring they receive independent, untethered cooling to prevent thermal throttling during heavy gaming or rendering workloads.
Massive Cooling Support: Despite being classified as a mid-tower, the cooling capacity of the C700 rivals many full-tower cases. It supports up to a staggering twelve 120mm fans or eleven 140mm fans. For liquid cooling enthusiasts, it offers incredible radiator flexibility, supporting massive 420mm radiators on both the front and the rear of the chassis simultaneously, as well as an additional 360mm radiator on the bottom. It comes ready out of the box with three high-performance CT140 ARGB White cooling fans (front, top, and rear) to kickstart your airflow.
Immaculate Presentation and Build Quality: The “Snow” edition offers a pristine all-white interior and exterior, complemented by thick 4mm tempered glass on the front and left side panels. This gives you a crystal-clear, panoramic view of your custom PC build. To ensure your build looks clean, the case features excellent cable management chambers, massive storage capacity (up to seven 3.5″ HDDs or six 2.5″ SSDs), and easily removable magnetic dust filters on the top, front, bottom, rear, and right side panels to keep your pristine white system free of dust buildup.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Do my monitor cables plug into the top of the case? Yes. Because the motherboard is rotated 90 degrees, your motherboard’s rear I/O panel and your graphics card ports are located at the top of the case under a removable mesh cover. You will route your monitor cables, USB devices, and ethernet cable into the top of the chassis and out through a dedicated cable routing hole at the back.
- Does this case come with a riser cable to vertically mount my GPU? The CTE layout does not use a traditional “vertical mount” with a riser cable. Because the entire motherboard is rotated, your GPU plugs directly into the motherboard as normal, but it will hang vertically suspended from the top I/O bracket. This eliminates GPU sag naturally and removes the need to buy an expensive PCIe riser cable.
- How do I control the RGB lighting on the included fans? The pre-installed CT140 ARGB fans use standard 5V 3-pin ARGB connectors. You plug these directly into your motherboard’s ARGB headers and control the lighting using your motherboard’s official software (such as ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, or Gigabyte RGB Fusion).
