Thermaltake Ceres 500 TG ARGB Snow | High-Airflow ATX Case
Extreme Airflow Design: Thermaltake engineered the Ceres series to combat the intense heat generated by modern high-end CPUs and GPUs. To achieve this, more than 60% of the Ceres 500’s outer panels (including the front, top, and bottom sections) feature a highly perforated mesh design. This massive amount of ventilation ensures cold air flows freely into the chassis and hot air exhausts rapidly, keeping your components running at their peak boost clocks without thermal throttling.
Pre-Installed CT140 ARGB Fans: You won’t need to spend extra money on premium case fans. The Ceres 500 comes pre-equipped with four of Thermaltake’s powerful CT140 ARGB Sync PC cooling fans (three pulling air in through the front, one exhausting out the back). These are 140mm PWM-controlled fans capable of reaching 1500 RPM, delivering immense airflow and static pressure. They feature customizable Addressable RGB lighting that can be easily synced with your motherboard’s native RGB software.
Massive Hardware Clearance: Despite being classified as a mid-tower, the interior is remarkably spacious. It supports motherboards all the way up to E-ATX sizes. For cooling, you can easily mount a massive 420mm liquid cooling radiator in the front and a 360mm radiator on the top. It accommodates towering air coolers up to 185mm tall, and with up to 425mm of graphics card clearance, it easily houses the largest flagship models on the market.
Premium Builder Features: Thermaltake has loaded this case with quality-of-life features. The 3mm tempered glass side panel is hinged, allowing you to swing it open like a door for quick, tool-free access to your hardware. It includes a heavy-duty, adjustable GPU holder to prevent massive graphics cards from sagging and stressing your motherboard. Furthermore, the patented rotational PCI-E slots allow you to mount your graphics card vertically (riser cable sold separately) to show off its cooler design. There is also a cutout on the lower side panel designed to fit an optional 3.9-inch LCD Panel Kit (sold separately), which can display real-time system temperatures or personalized graphics.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Does it come with a PCIe riser cable for vertical GPU mounting? No. While the Ceres 500 features patented rotatable PCIe slots that allow for vertical GPU mounting, the PCIe riser cable itself is not included in the box. You will need to purchase a compatible PCIe 4.0 riser cable separately to utilize this feature.
- Is the LCD screen on the side panel included? No. The 3.9-inch LCD screen often seen in promotional photos is an optional accessory sold separately by Thermaltake (the LCD Panel Kit). The standard case comes with a blanking plate in that spot, which you can easily remove if you decide to buy and install the screen later.
- Can I control the fan lighting without an ARGB motherboard? The pre-installed CT140 fans utilize standard 3-pin 5V ARGB connectors. If your motherboard does not have a 5V ARGB header, you will not be able to light them up out of the box. You would need to purchase a separate SATA-powered ARGB controller to manually cycle through lighting effects.
