The ASUS ROG Strix Z690-F Gaming WiFi motherboard enhances Intel’s LGA1700 platform with cutting-edge performance, superior thermal design, and features that are ready for the future. Using the Z690 chipset, it is made for 12th and 13th generation Intel Core processors and offers next-generation storage, robust overclocking support, and fast connectivity—all encased in ROG’s distinctive design.
Fundamentally, it has a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for GPUs and supports DDR5 memory up to 6400 MHz (OC), guaranteeing complete compatibility with upcoming graphics cards. Four onboard M.2 slots are used for storage; each slot has a heatsink covering and is strengthened with thermal padding to avoid throttling. Additionally, 6× SATA ports are provided for extra drives.
Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and Intel 2.5 Gb LAN provide incredibly fast network connectivity, which is perfect for professional workloads and high-speed online gaming. Numerous USB options, including USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C, are available via the rear I/O, and USB-C is supported on the front panel.
