Product Description

DeepCool CH270 DIGITAL Micro-ATX Mini Tower Cabinet

A Small Footprint with Massive Capabilities: The DeepCool CH270 DIGITAL is engineered to save valuable desktop space without forcing you to compromise on your internal components. It utilizes an elevated, vertical mini-tower design that pulls cool air from all sides. By shifting the internal layout, it easily swallows Micro-ATX motherboards and even fully supports the latest generation of rear-connector motherboards, allowing for a completely cable-free aesthetic in the main viewing chamber.

Real-Time Digital Monitoring: You no longer need to rely on secondary monitors or clunky software overlays to check your system thermals. The base of the CH270 DIGITAL features a sleek, integrated digital display screen. With a quick glance, you can monitor vital system telemetry in real time. Using a simple physical button, you can instantly toggle the display to show temperatures, utilization, and power draw for your CPU, GPU, or Power Supply.

Uncompromised Cooling and Hardware Support: Heat is the enemy of small form factor builds, but the CH270 tackles this with extensive wraparound mesh on the top and front panels. These perforated panels double as a canvas, allowing you to create custom 8-bit designs using DeepCool’s silicone PIXEL bits. Internally, the cooling potential is massive: it supports up to six 120mm fans and can comfortably house a large 360mm AIO liquid cooler on the side bracket. You also won’t have to sacrifice gaming performance, as the case easily fits massive triple-fan graphics cards up to 388mm long and standard ATX power supplies.

Key Features

  • Integrated Digital Base: A built-in display screen at the bottom of the case provides real-time monitoring for CPU, GPU, and PSU vitals.
  • Rear-Connector Compatible: Specifically designed with extra backplane clearance to support modern cable-hidden Micro-ATX motherboards.
  • Massive GPU Clearance: Despite its compact size, it comfortably fits flagship graphics cards up to 388mm in length.
  • Exceptional Airflow: Wraparound mesh panels and support for up to six 120mm fans ensure your high-end components stay cool under heavy loads.
  • PIXEL Customizable: The perforated front and top panels allow you to create your own unique 8-bit artwork using DeepCool’s silicone PIXEL bits.
  • Extensive Cooling Support: Easily mount a massive 360mm AIO liquid cooler to the side bracket or utilize a large 174mm tall CPU air cooler.

Comparison: DeepCool CH270 DIGITAL vs. DeepCool CH170 DIGITAL

If you love this vertical aesthetic, you might also be looking at the smaller DeepCool CH170 DIGITAL. While both cases feature the exact same integrated digital base and wraparound mesh panels, the CH170 is strictly a Mini-ITX case, meaning motherboard options are limited and it only supports a 240mm side radiator. The CH270 DIGITAL is the upgraded version. By increasing the footprint slightly, the CH270 unlocks support for much more affordable Micro-ATX motherboards, massive 360mm AIO liquid coolers, and even longer graphics cards, making it a far more versatile option for high-end builders.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Does this case come with any cooling fans included? No. The DeepCool CH270 DIGITAL does not include any pre-installed fans out of the box. You will need to purchase your own 120mm or 140mm fans, or an AIO liquid cooler, to properly ventilate the system.
  2. Do I need special software to run the digital screen? Yes, to get the hardware telemetry to display correctly on the base of the case, you will need to connect the screen to your motherboard via an internal USB 2.0 header and download DeepCool’s lightweight digital monitoring software from their official website.
  3. Can I install a 360mm radiator on the top of the case? No. The top of the case only supports two 120mm fans. If you wish to use a large 360mm AIO liquid cooler, it must be mounted to the specialized side fan bracket.
  4. Will my standard ATX power supply fit? Yes, the case supports standard ATX power supplies, but there is a strict length limit of 150mm. You must check the physical dimensions of your specific power supply before building, as longer, high-wattage ATX units will not fit in the dedicated mounting bracket.
