The Sapphire NITRO RX7900GRE is based on AMD’s RDNA 3 Navi 31 XL GPU and has 80 compute units (5120 stream processors), 160 AI accelerators, and 80 ray accelerators. Its factory OC mode provides outstanding raster and compute performance by increasing clocks to 2391 MHz (about 7% above reference).
It offers 64 MB of Infinity Cache and 576 GB/s of bandwidth when paired with 16 GB GDDR6 on a 256-bit bus (18 GB/s). The Tri-X cooler, which has a full metal backplate and ARGB lighting, combines three 95mm fans, composite heatpipes, and a large heatsink. Sapphire comes with power design improvements, fan control tools, and two BIOS.
The card needs two 8-pin PCIe connectors and a 750–800 W power supply. It is roughly 320 x 134.8 x 61.6 mm (3-slot, ATX), and it draws about 295 W of board power when it is fully loaded.
