About ASRock Radeon RX 6600 Challenger OC 8 GB GDDR6
Introducing the ASRock Radeon RX 6600 Challenger OC 8GB, a 7nm Navi 23 GPU based on AMD’s RDNA 2 architecture. It has a 128-bit GDDR6 memory interface, 1792 stream processors, and a boost clock of up to 2491 MHz (game clock ~2044 MHz).
The custom cooler uses nickel-plated heatpipes, a strong metal backplate for structural rigidity, and two striped-axial fans that don’t make noise below about 55°C. A PCIe 4.0 x 16 slot is used to supply power to a single 8-pin connector. VRR-compatible 1× HDMI 2.1 and 3× DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC) are available as video outputs.
It draws about 180 watts, is small (about 269 x 132 x 41 mm), and works well with 500 watt PSUs (550 to 650 watts is recommended). Bonus: ASRock Tweak 2.0 makes fan and OC control simple.
